CaRDI has three broad focus areas - Community and Economic Development; Agriculture and Food Systems Development; and Energy, Land Use and the Environment. Within those are six more specific foci that are critical areas for community development. Through programs that arise from these focal areas, CaRDI seeks to strengthen the capacity, resiliency and sustainability of communities in New York State.
