Mobile consulate visits

The Cornell Farmworker Program partners with the Mexican and Guatemalan consulates to bring mobile consulate services to Upstate NY communities, usually in the summer. Participants from the hosting consulates' nations can access forms and support for updating passports, consular IDs and birth certificates. Since 1818, farmers have relied on the Farmers' Almanac for uncannily accurate weather predictions to inform their planting, harvesting, and day-to-day living. In 2017, Slow Food New York City will sponsor the Seventh Food Almanac, a food and farming prognostication inspired by the Farmers' Almanac. Read more

June 2016 Mobile Consulate Visits

The Cornell Farmworker Program will host two mobile consulate visits in June:

1. The Guatemalan Consulate will visit Lansing, NY on Friday, June 24 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. 
2. The Mexican Consulate will be in Geneva, NY on June 12, 13, and 14.
