Community Development Research

CaRDI applied social science research examines communities’ needs and opportunities, and identifies appropriate research-based development and development issues. Because community capacity building undergirds all of CaRDI’s program focal areas, we consider the research we conduct within each of these areas (Community and Energy, Land Use, Regional Economic Development, and Vital Indicators for Enhanced Well-being) to fall within our “community development” research portfolio.
