Energy Training

The goal of CaRDI’s land use programming is to improve a) the understanding of, and b) decisions about, the issues that influence New York community energy decisions insofar as they involve New York residents, the communities they live in, and the energy systems that support  and connect  them.

CaRDI approaches training on energy related topics by efforts to integrate topical and responsive training sessions into multiple training venues organized by CaRDI and partner organizations concerned about informed local decision making about energy training.  As part of this effort, CaRDI takes a leadership role in the Community and Energy Program Work Team that focuses on working with and mobilizing the people in the Cooperative Extension system with community and energy related concerns and responsibilities.
