Community Energy

The goal of CaRDI’s land use programming is to support sound community decision making about energy alternatives. CaRDI’s programming in this arena focuses on New York residents, the communities they live in, and the choices they are faced with about options for the production, conservation and use of the energy that sustains and connects them.

To this end, CaRDI’s key community energy programming strategies include partnership building, research, policy analysis, and training.

Land Use

The goal of CaRDI’s land use programming is to support sound management of New York’s land resources. CaRDI’s land use program focuses on New York residents, the communities they live in, and the land (physical and natural environment) that sustains and connects them.

To this end, CaRDI’s key land use programming strategies include partnership building, research, policy analysis, and training.
